Theron's third month

Things started getting much easier in Theron's third month.  We moved him into his nursery and we were both able to sleep at the same time at night!  :)  He slept 7 hours straight on his 2-month birthday, but then decided to wake up twice a night for the next three weeks!

I was still working half time from home and had planned to stay at home with him until he was 12 weeks old, but ended up going back to work full time when he was 10 weeks old (more on that later).

My dad and Ronni came to visit over my birthday weekend in August and met Theron for the first time.  It was great to see my dad and get some time to visit with them.  We mostly hung out at our house, but did go on one outing to the Dallas Children's Aquarium.  It was pretty neat, but it was super hot, even though we spent most of the time indoors!

I went back to work in the middle of August, when Theron was 10 weeks old.  It was really hard leaving  him the first day and the first three weeks were really hard as well.  I cried the first two days and then the next few weeks, I got antsy about 2 - 3 pm every day, when it was getting close to 5 pm, but those last few hours would just seem to last forever.  After about 3 weeks, we adjusted and Theron did so well at daycare from the beginning.  It is such a blessing to have a wonderful daycare like ours!

We also made a trip down to Rockport in August with Blake's family.  Cheryl got to spend some quality time with Theron and Seth met him for the first time this weekend.

Our friends, Kurt and Melissa and their three kids came to visit us in August also.  I got a picture of Sam holding Theron, but didn't get one of Melissa holding him.  Next time!

August was a fun, action-packed month for us!
